Conflicts arise for various reasons and in different contexts. Equipped with mediation skills help to prepare oneself to deal with conflicts encountered in different situations in our daily lives. This Workshop highlights the different types of conflicts and disputes that an ordinary person may encounter. They include family disputes, friend disputes, neighbour disputes, consumer disputes with commercial outlets, disputes on home renovations, and disputes between colleagues and employers.

The Workshop will share how these common daily conflicts can be resolved in an amicable manner using mediation and other conflict resolution tools.

The challenges and difficulties will be discussed. A mock mediation will be shown to demonstrate the mediation process.
